DOES THIS REALLY SURPRISE YOU?

Hold on right there, you didn’t really think that a federal department, almost any department, with the power and authority to pry would do everything but throw in the kitchen sink to use this new toy…..did you? If you did, than apparently you didn’t believe those old stories about J. Edger Hoover and his thousands of intelligence files on people who lived in the White House, to the guy who swept the streets.

 

The National Security Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Central Intelligence Agency, and the United States Department of Homeland Security are all what could be called high profile agencies of the United States Security and Intelligence gathering departments.

 

However listing these national security agency’s is but a tip of the iceberg, the federal government of the United States has an agency for almost everything imaginable, and if they don’t, and hear about it, rest assured…..in short order there will be an agency that will cover it!

 

The size of the world’s intelligence community, (as they call themselves) is so immense, and the dollars, rubles, francs, shillings and whatever type of currency that is used to fund it is such a crazy amount, regular people like us cannot fathom the size, the amount, the number of employees, and their unbridled power…..99% of the people on the face of the earth do not think in such a manner.

 

Albania, Barbados, Belarus, Botswana, Brunei (that’s right, Brunei), a country I’ve never heard of, bisected by Malaysian state of Sarawak in northwestern Borneo (which by the way doesn’t have an intelligence agency), in eastern Asia. It became an independent member of the British Commonwealth in 1984.

 

I never knew that there were so many frustrated spooks around the world, the number has to reaches into the hundreds of thousands, and their combined budgets, neither of which can be accessed, has to number in the trillions of dollars.

 

Did anybody out there ever put two and two together, and come up with three; I mean how much surveillance is necessary for the freedom of people, or the tracking of people, or the oppressing of people? What is the number anyways, like here in the United States where the population is a little more than 316 million people, is it ten to one, twenty to one, are these spooks tripping over one another in their efforts to keep tabs of us?

 

THE UNITED STATES AND THE INTERNATIONAL SPYING COMMUNITY

There are…..in the world today…..an outlandish number of intelligence departments…..that number…..as of August 15, 2013…..is…..463! The number isn’t inflated, I didn’t manufacture the number, and in this case, numbers do not lie. The United States, of course leads the way (as if we needed to keep score) with 24 different agency’s that deal with everything from National Geospatial-intelligence, (NGA) intelligence derived from the exploration and analysis of imagery and geospatial information that describes, assesses and visually depicts physical features and geographically referenced activity on the earth, CAN I GET A WITNESS!

 

These jokers have a huge glass office building at the Fort Belvoir North Area in Springfield, Virginia, and ply their stuff from all sorts of imaging systems, or whatever it is that they use to get the things that they analyses.

 

It must be stated that Japan is a close second with regards to spy agencies…..they’ve got 23 different departments that are answerable to the Cabinet Secretary, and their police force…..the entire police force is under the control of the Cabinet Secretary.

 

It seems apparent to me that there’s way to much spying, and spooking going on for our own well being, after all, the more spies that we have, the more dirt (literally), remember the Geospatial-intelligence department, these people have to dig up to justify their position and existence. And don’t get on the wrong side of these people, I’m sure their like a Bull-dog with a bone.

 

There are several things that have lead us to the place that we find ourselves today, one is some people don’t think that we’re in any peril what-so-ever, they figure it’s okay for our government, law enforcement, and our spook agencies to dig  around in our private stuff…..after all, they don’t have anything to hide.

 

There are (it’s classified) thousands of agents from all sorts of agencies, and every country on the face of the planet lurking around, looking for stuff that can be used to bring into question all sorts of issues from a person’s telephone conversations, to what and who they access on their home computer, to how often they have sex…..(I’d kind of like to know that on some of my neighbors.) I’m sure that I’m on some sort of watch list; I access Aljazeera, and the Russian and Asian Times almost on a daily basis.

 

Do you really think that all of these agencies and all of the people that are employed by them are infallible of making mistakes, or that some might hold some sort of hidden diabolical agenda? If you do, you’re country loves you, as does you’re intelligence agencies…..and keep those windows on your bubble house locked at all times.

 

HERE’S THE SKINNY ON SPOOKS-VILLE

Everybody can’t be a spy, it takes a special person to do the work that a spy does, it takes a cynic, a person who will throw his lot in with like minded people, does little thinking for himself, and is incapable of abstract thinking. And they are not…..ever, even close to…..and never look or act like James Bond, rather they are shallow, and pre-occupied little people who are unwilling or incapable of thinking for themselves (I think I said that…..but it bears repeating).

 

We have a problem…..you and me, our government is running amuck, and is completely out of control, and may not survive. Things have happened in our history that mirrors what is happening today…..but we did not have either the luxury or the burden of up to the minute news, and we are more informed about things that go on around the world. Notice I didn’t say better informed, I said more informed.

 

Therein lies part of the problem with history at this particular time, the news and the information, it can be spun almost anyway those powers that be want. It takes a huge effort to keep track of what is happening in the world…..and part of that problem is the number of agencies and agents that we, as a people have around the world.

 

If we keep up the way that we are going…..somebody somewhere might make one of those little oops thingies, or somebody with a sinister agenda might gain control of some of the spy stuff and blow the whole damn planet up.

 

No, we need to be in better control of our stuff, it isn’t supposed to be us against the government, we need to understand, and take control of those people in our government that actually work for us! I don’t need some silly, stupid bureaucrat organizing, creating some agency, and then sicing that organization on me, and mine.

 

I have complete control over my life, I have my wife, my kids, and my friends that completely fill me up…..I do not have the time for evil or unpatriotic activity or thoughts…..(are you guys reading this) I love my country and although I disagree with much that is going on, I’m willing to wait for the election cycles, and replace the buffoons that now occupy the Congress, Senate, and the White House.

 

So I don’t need big daddy watching over my shoulder, under the ruse of protection, reading my emails, monitoring my phone conversations or searching my garbage (watch those used dog biscuits) and mail. I’m an honest American, enjoy my freedom, and would take up arms to keep it.

 

Sadly these people (spooks) are poster children for why we need government as an agent to keep and insure that we maintain ourselves as a free society. You people in the intelligence community do not…..and I repeat, do not insure our freedom through your actions, and you can count me as one of those citizens that know the score!
